The BEST (and healthiest!) Green Smoothie | Only 4 Ingredients!

I don’t know about you guys, but there is nothing more satisfying to me as a sweet and creamy smoothie in the morning. A quick treat that is packed with micronutrients, a good ol’ green smoothie to start the day is pretty much a guarantee that I am going to start off my morning feeling rejuvenated and revived. Because most smoothies boast bright pink and purple colors, my vibrant green drink can look a little… shocking, I know. But believe me, this is the sweetest and most delicious concotion I have ever come up with. And with only 4 ingredients, it’s a simple way to start the day. For a Single Serving, Recipe as Follows: 1 Frozen Banana 2 Cups Fresh or Frozen Spinach (I prefer frozen to make it even thicker and colder) 1 Cup Almond Milk 1 Serving of Vanilla Protein Powder (I use Orgain Sweet Vanilla Bean) And there you have it! A four ingredient recipe for the most delectable smoothie to ever grace your lips. I hope you enjoy and would …

April Lifestyle Loves | 2017

I don’t know about you, but the month of April always acts as a sort of re-set button. No longer are we burdened with the need for products that help fight of the Winter chills, nor do we need to shy away from bright and bold colors. While today I am going to be touching upon my favorite lifestyle products from the month of April, rather than beauty products, I feel as if the past month has still acted as a rejuvenating time in my daily routine. If you’re interested in reading about the my April lifestyle loves, just keep on reading.

My Favorite Lifestyle YouTubers, Podcasts, and Blogs: Cooking, Work Outs, and More!

Lets face it, life would be a whole lot easier if it came with a tutorial. Luckily, for us mere mortals, we have the internet- which is just as good. During the school year, procrastination becomes an artform that I have all but perfected. And in this dawdled time I have actually managed come across some really awesome stuff that I think everybody should know about. Today I’m going to be sharing with you a few of my all time favorite internet and iTunes finds for. ‘Cuz let’s be real- listening to podcasts, watching food shows, and working out is a blast, but is always better when you’re procrastinating.

My At-Home Spa Day Essentials

No matter how picture perfect your life may be, it is simply inevitable that long days at the office or in the classroom result in stress and exhaustion. Personally, I have anxiety and often feel overwhelmed with the stresses of daily life. While anxiety or stress is by no means a good feeling, I have (over the years) found an at home routine that helps me unwind, and melts any feelings of worry away. Today I am going to be walking you through my 4-part method for a stress relieving, at-home spa day that never fails to relax. Part One: Destress Bubbles: When feeling overwhelmed, I start off my night by soaking in the tub. When your tense, stressed, and overworked body enters the warm water, your muscles instinctively relax- resulting in an instantaneous feeling of calm. This is the first step to a tense free night, and a peaceful nights sleep. Essence: To enhance the effects of your bath time, incense is a great option. Ever since Ancient Egypt, incense and essential oils have been used to treat anxiety, and …

Current Lifestyle Loves!

What with birthday presents, summer shopping, and my absurd inability to contain myself, over the past few months I’ve managed to collect a few new lifestyle loves! From shoes, to hair, to kitchen gadgets, I’ve pretty much covered all my bases when it comes to wiping out my entire bank account. But hey… I’m not exactly complaining! If you’re interested in seeing some new products that I now can’t live without then just keep on reading…

February Lifestyle Loves!

Aaaand my obsession with products continues. This month I decided to split my February Favorites into two parts- Beauty (which you can read here) and Lifestyle. As per usual, I have gathered a slew of some of my favorite things and compiled them onto this list to make your shopping (addiction) a little bit easier! All of these products are tried and tested, and have my ultimate seal of approval. I hope you enjoy 🙂   Anne Klein Gold Tone and Red Leather Watch: This month my watch of choice has been the Anne Klein Gold Tone and Red Leather Watch. This round, simple faced watch is very clean, wearable, and fashionable. With its red leather band, this watch is incredible classy, and not as flamboyant as many other watches that are “in style” at the moment. And while I do love my gold Citizens Quartz Gold watch, I love the simplicity and subtlety of this bad boy.   Uniqlo Military Jacket: I genuinely don’t think I have ever been so in love with a …

My Makeup Isn’t Your Problem

Makeup is personal. There’s no secret code, there’s no rules and there’s no rulebook. And I love it. In society, there is a stigma surrounding men or women who choose to delve into the world of beauty. You care too much about your looks, you care too much about what others think, you’re focusing your time and energy on something un-impactful and un-important. But why should anybody have to listen to the opinions of others when it comes to your own opinions and feelings– especially regarding something so lighthearted and artistic as makeup? You shouldn’t.

MY SKIN STORY | How I Cleared My Cystic Acne + My Skincare Routine

The worst feeling I’ve ever experienced? Talking to somebody and looking into their eyes, while they were looking at my chin. From age 13+ I have struggled with severe cystic acne. And I do want to preface this post by saying that this is a topic that makes me mind numbingly uncomfortable and self conscious. But today I want to share my skin story with you.
