The BEST (and most affordable?) Skincare Tool Out There

Skincare can often sound like a foreign language. With different skin types, different tools, different cleansers, and so on, it can be difficult for the everyday woman to pinpoint her exact needs and wants when it comes to a daily skincare routine.

While I’m all about taking great care of my skin, I’m not as into spending buttloads of money on products such as the Clarisonic or the Foreo Luna- which can range anywhere from $100-300.

However, as I was browsing the aisles of Sephora during my lunch break (curse the person who thought it would be a good idea to build a Sephora next to my office) I stumbled across something from the Sephora Collection brand that caught my eye. Because it looked similar to the Foreo Luna, I was instantly drawn in. And the fact that it was only $6 called out to me as well.

The Sephora Collection Precision Pore Cleansing Pad is described as “A flexible silicone pad that gently massages the face and helps deliver deeply clean, radiant results.” Covered in minuscule silicone bristles, this pad is designed to exfoliate, cleanse and clear the pores, as well as soften the skin. While it’s nowhere near as high tech or fancy as the Forea Luna (that I assume it was modeled after) it has what I imagine would be a similar effect.

Though it seems a basic concept, I genuinely find that the Precision Pore Cleansing Pad has made a noticeable difference in the overall appearance of my skin. I personally have somewhat combo skin- I get oily around my T-Zone, but dry around the perimeter of my face and on my chin. Not only do I find that this pad exfoliates the dry and flakey skin, leaving my usually dry areas patchy and cracked, but it also cleanses my larger pores in my T-Zone exceptionally well and I have noticed less oil production since I began using it.

Because the silicone bristles are flexible and not too stiff, I do not find this tool irritates my skin or causes any unnecessary “scratching”. I also do not think this is a product limited to a specific skin type. Because I have found the Precision Pore Cleansing Pad to be beneficial to both the dry and oily sections of my face, I think this would work well on just about any skin type.

Overall, I think that the Sephora Collection Precision Pore Cleansing Pad is a wonderfully fantastic alternative to the grossly expensive skin care tools that are dominating the market at the moment. Gentle, effective, and affordable, I suggest everybody check this out.

I hope you enjoyed reading about my thoughts on this latest skincare tool! If you have any questions feel free to leave them down below 🙂

Have a great day,

-Love, Lieve
