The $3 Product That Saved My Split Ends

For anybody with color treated, long hair– I know you know my struggle. A big fan of long locks, I am always trying to find a way to grow out my hair without doing too much damage. Unfortunately, as I’m sure many of you know, that’s a near impossible experience.

I have been dying my hair since my junior year of high school, and have only recently began to go back to my natural color and letting my hair grow out. However, years of coloring my hair hasn’t been too kind on me. I personally have quite dehydrated strands that simply love to break on me, and it’s length falls about 5 inches below my shoulders.

Having always had relatively short hair, I’ve been working on growing out my hair for a while now, but haven’t been able to find products that would maintain the stress. That is until I found my holy grail hair care product this past fall.

On the search for an affordable deep conditioner that would work miracles, I came across just that. For the past few months I have been religiously using my Aussie 3 Minute Miracle Moist Deep Conditioner. Despite its use of the word moist *shudder* this product has truly worked wonders, and is about 100 times better than any high end hair mask I have ever tried (such as the Macadamia, Living Proof, or Amica). And what really blows my mind is the price tag. At a measly $3, the Aussie 3 Minute Miracle Moist Deep Conditioner is a product that should be sitting in everybody’s shower.

Onto the actual product, this is a deep conditioner treatment that claims to have 3x the moisturizing power. A thick and creamy consistency, this product is formulated with Australian Aloe, Jojoba and Sea Kelp. I use this about once (maybe twice) a week, or whenever I feel my hair is extra dry or damaged.

To use this product, simply wash your hair with shampoo, rinse, and then apply a relatively generous amount of the 3 Minute Miracle to your hair, focusing the product on the ends. Let this sit for 3 minutes (but let’s be real, I personally keep it in for as long as possible) and go about your business in the shower. After you feel you’ve kept this in for an appropriate amount of time, rinse out with water and prepare to think your hair has magically turned into a silky waterfall. I also find this to be a relatively unscented product, possibly with a hint of coconut.

All in all, if you have been struggling in any way, shape, or form with your hair, I can’t express to you enough how much of a miracle working the Aussie 3 Minute Miracle has been to me. This product has changed the way I handle my hair, and I am excited to try out the rest of their range of products.

As always, feel free to leave any questions down below, and stop by every Wednesday and Sunday for new posts!

Have a great day,

-Love, Lieve
