March Beauty Favorites!

March is known for its overall madness, but today we’re talking March BEAUTY Madness.

Today I’m going to be sharing with you the products I have been absolutely loving in the month of March. From bright lips to bushy brows, I’ve got it covered and I hope you enjoy!

Maybelline Coral Crush: In my opinion, the Maybelline Sensational line has some of the absolute best lipstick formulas at the drugstores. And what makes it even better? The shade range is ridonk. Due to the warming weather and the sunnier skies, I decided to crack open the shade “Coral Crush” and oh boy was it the right move. This is a stunning coral, peach shade that, while bright and neon, is shockingly wearable. I definitely can see this being a staple summer shade for me.

Rimmel Lasting Finish Lipstick in “08”: While my favorite “in your face” lipstick goes to Coral Crush, my favorite pink lipstick has to go to Rimmel “08”. This is a stunning, rosy pink that adds a gorgeous healthy flush and makes you look immediately more put together. If you’re looking for a subtle, yet stylish shade to rock, this should be your first choice.

Revlon Matte Balm in “Enchanting”: Ok, so we’ve covered bright, rosy, and it wouldn’t be a favorites without mentioning my current favorite nude lip as well. After binging on Lisa Eldridge, I noticed that she was using the Revlon Matte Balm in “Enchanting” in several videos. Therefore, I had to have it. Like, literally. I got dressed, left my room, walked to CVS and bought this lipstick solely because the queen of makeup mentioned it. And boy am I grateful she did. This is a perfect Spring nude due to its peachy hue and fresh look. I honestly haven’t been able to put this down and cannot get enough.

Wet n’ Wild “Reserve Your Cabana”: All over YouTube I’ve heard that if you want a dupe for Hourglass, then this is your guy. After hearing about the Wet n’ Wild “Reserve Your Cabana” “bronzer”(aka highlight)time and time again, I finally caved. In my personal opinion (note: PERSONAL) I’ve been getting a little sick of seeing super harsh highlights, and was looking for something a little more subtle and natural- which is why I think this is probably my favorite highlight I’ve ever tried. And its about 4 dollars. Can you beat that? I think not. If you are looking for more of a glow than a disco ball, I highly highly HIGHLY recommend trying this out.

Becca Moonstone: And my favorite thing to pair “Reserve Your Cabana” with? Becca Shimmering Skin Perfector (Liquid) in Moonstone. I personally love putting this underneath my foundation to achieve a “lit from within” look to my skin. Similar to the Wet n’ Wild option, this will simply give a healthy, luminous look to the face without overdoing it.

Mally Blush in “Mally’s Glow”: Because I’ve been keeping my face makeup pretty fresh lately, I have been loving my Mally Beauty Blush in “Mally’s Glow”. This is a classic pink shade with the slightest bit of shimmer, which gives you an overall radiant appearance and a slightly flushed look. With the subtle shimmer running through this blush, you will immediately notice your skin looking glowy and healthy with very little effort.

NYX HD Finishing Powder in “Banana”: Because I’m the color of paper, I was slightly nervous about trying this powder out because I was worried it would be visible on my skin and make me look slightly sallow. However, I think I can say that this has quickly become my favorite under eye setting powder of all time. With its HD technology, this powder instantly smooths over pores and fine lines without accentuate anything that shouldn’t be accentuate. With it’s slight yellow hue, this powder gives a perfect lift and brightness to the under eyes that perfectly counteracts any look of fatigue. This is headed straight into my holy grail pile for sure.

NYX Tinted Brow Mascara: Another NYX product I have been loving has been the NYX Tinted Brow Mascara in the shade “Blonde”. This is an awesome brow product because, while it does tame any unruly hairs that may be giving you a hard time, it doesn’t leave your brows feeling crunchy. I also adore the size of the wand- unlike many other brow mascaras found at the drugstore, this wand is perfectly sized to be able to comb through without smudging any product all over your face in the process. Though I do have blonde hair, my eyebrows are significantly darker. That being said, my current favorite trick to balance out the colors is by using a taupe or light brown pomade or pencil to fill in and shape my brows, then take the blonde brow mascara to tone it down a little. This combination has been an absolute lifesaver.

Charlotte Tilbury “Uptown Girl”: Recently I have been playing around with a couple Charlotte Tilbury quads, and I have to say “Uptown Girl” is probably my favorite. While this is an extremely shimmery, intense quad, it’s perfect for a night out on the town. I have found that I prefer using my fingers to apply these shades and to achieve that perfect New York City look.

Tarte “Apple of My Eye” Quad: While the “Uptown Girl” quad has been my go-to for a night out, my Tarte “Apple of My Eye” quad has been my staple for an everyday look. This quad is filled with stunning, warm shades that give an instant, bright eyed look. I have been obsessed with the shade “Caramel” (upper right) in the crease, using “Golden Delicious” (upper left) all over the lid, and using “Gala” (bottom left) as a quick liner. When I want to amp things up a bit I’ll take the gorgeous “Honeycrisp” (bottom right) all over the lid, and move “Golden Delicious” to the center of my lid and the inner corner. So if anybody’s been wondering what I’ve been wearing everyday (and I MEAN everyday) then there you have it.

True Moringa Lavender Facial Oil: Last up for my March Beauty Madness has to go to my current favorite skin care product- the True Moringa Lavender Facial Oil. I’ve already done a full review of this product so I’ll keep this short. This oil claims that it hydrates for lasting moisture, nourishes with anioxidants, restores texture and tone, soothes redness and damage, and minimizes lines, wrinkles and scars. And it does. While most products don’t live up to their extensive claims, I am happy to confirm that I have noticed this oil work absolute wonders for my skin. I’ve struggled with severe acne in the past and am still dealing with the residual scars- but this oil has been making an incredible difference. I’ve noticed my skin become more supple, my scars become more subtle, and my acne ebb away. If you’re looking for a new serum to try out, this should be your first choice.

Thank you so much for reading guys!

Don’t forget to let me know what you’ve been loving this month… And don’t forget to check back every Wednesday and Sunday for new posts!

I hope you have a wonderful day 🙂

-Love, Lieve
